It’s hard to explain but tv was better when you couldn’t watch the show you wanted whenever you wanted to watch it and most of the shows were worse and the TVs were worse and the entire experience was worse, that’s when it was better

I had a number of friends who grew up in chaotic, insane households with alcoholic or drug addicted parents. Being in Demented Don’s world is traumatic. Adults who stay for the abuse deserve the abuse- it’s the only thing that will create a bottom for them.

There's a famous story about Joe Stalin making a speech in 1937. When he was done, the audience began clapping wildly but then everyone was afraid to stop. They kept going for 11 minutes. Finally one guy had enough and stopped, and then everyone else could too. That guy was imprisoned for 10 years.
