Definitely just an old balding man.

I was laying in bed with my son reading him his bedtime story (a non-fiction book about the solar system) and he turns to me out of nowhere and says “I know you’re afraid of heights but what about widths?” and just busts out laughing. He got my ass.

We saw a 10am showing of The odyssey today and I enjoyed it but the person next to me brought, and I am not kidding, a backpack, several bags of things, and at least three jackets. Outrageous.

This is Loki, our Maine Coon and the cat of our hearts, and he went missing today. We have no idea how he got out, but he’s an elder, indoor cat, the whole region’s in an intense heat wave, and we’re really scared. I doubt I have any followers here in Martinez, CA, but if so, help? It’s SO hot

Apparently the cast of Heated Rivalry is having a hard time shooting in Toronto because the fans keep being weird and following the cast around. Another reason to shoot in LA. We literally do not give a fuck.

I have to brag as a parent because the hotel we are staying at has a quiet pool but there were a bunch of unruly kids in there but my child was the only child allowed to stay. He was quietly obeying the quiet pool rules.

I am pretty sure the sunscreen we bought it total bullshit because all of us got a sunburn after using it and we don’t burn that easily. Also it was overcast!

Ok I do not recommend doing LEGOLAND and San Diego Zoo Safari Park back-to-back when it’s 88 degrees and humid. Holy shit I want to die.

In retrospect, seeing the stupid Mandalorian movie was a good theatrical experience because I accidentally got way too drunk on the AMC themed cocktail and my son took a little rest. I cannot remember what happens in that movie to save my life though.

I enjoyed The Odyssey (2026) but I have one historical nitpick. The phrase “Jiminy Christmas” is a minced oath for “Jesus Christ”. As the story is set around 1200 B.C. it is unlikely that Odysseus would have said the phrase even once, let alone the dozens of times he says it in the film
