Between 2010 and 2024, only 500 more prison places were made available and 23 prisons were shut down. How dare the Tories and their media start with their bullshit faux outrage?!

I’m intrigued by the recent resurgence of the ‘Long Covid is not real’ nonsense we saw back in 20/21. The refusal to learn is one thing, but the dismissal of reality is another. Long Covid is too painful, too common & too present in many people’s lives to be denied. The story is hard to rewrite.

Solar energy supplied more power to Britain’s grid in July than any previous month on record. The figure of 14.4% of all power generated in July smashed the last monthly record of 12.4%, set only in May In July 2025, the (formerly) best year for solar generation, 9.6% of generation was from solar.

BBC News reporting on concerns about food security and water security We can all see the food and water crisis unfolding, why isn't our government doing everything possible to protect these two precious resources, our food and water supply?

The BBC treats climate change as a political subject, which it is not. This gives them the excuse of "both sidesing" an overwhelming scientific consensus and outright lying. It is a propaganda machine downplaying a deadly emergency and questions need to be asked at the highest level as to why.

I was not informed by the BBC that they would have a right wing political figure or lobbyist on after me to rebut what I said. The individual in question went on to spout lies about China, etc. to distract attention from the Trump administration's assault on climate action. This is unacceptable.

The GOP is desperately trying to rewrite history, but just a reminder that Donald Trump was president during the lockdowns, and he awarded Fauci a presidential commendation for his work on COVID. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Hours after meeting Zelenskyy and then Netanyahu, Trump betrayed Ukraine again, ordering $400 million in congressionally approved military aid to be delayed until 2029. Since Trump took office, the US has provided little to no actual aid to Ukraine.

Delighted to hear Burnham use this tone about immigrants - it’s an eternity since we last heard it from a PM. Worth commentators reflecting that one reason for the SNP’s and Plaid’s continued success is that they never stopped speaking like this. The proof now will be in the Mahmood pudding.

It's depressing that this moved me so much, but did. First time I've heard a politician praise a group of immigrants, without caveat, for a long while.

Wind & solar generated 225 TWh (44%) in Germany, officially overtaking fossil fuels (217 TWh / 43%) for the first time in history. Despite closing nuclear power, renewables keep surging forward. Are we still underestimating the speed of Europe’s transition? 🇩🇪⚡️ #ClimateAction
