There is also an alarmingly high tolerance for racist commentary on Hacker News these days It also has social norms against calling out someone for engaging in racism, genocide denial, Sinophobia, Islamophobia etc. Over the years I've watched it become a place where ignorance is the norm

wallflasher is a VERY blunt and unsophisticated tool to solve a delicate and non-trivial problem its a thousand lines of C++ code by someone who shouldnt be writing C++ it uses Serge Zaitsev's cool jsmn to parse komorebi's wm events, and draws bitmaps onto a huge window but it works 🤷‍♀️

been enjoying @lgug2z.com's komorebi tiling wm i like individual wallpapers for workspaces, and komorebi supports that Windows' Wallpaper API, however, is… very Microsoft swapping wallpapers takes easily a second+ on my PC so i wrote another tool for myself lmao 😅 github.com/shinmai/wall...
