Creating AI profiles of offenders is utterly dystopian and could exacerbate biases and violate both offenders and victims rights if information is hallucinated, omitted, or incorrect. This is not an area where we need to feign efficiency by using AI.

I teach bystander intervention for a living and have taught de-escalation to law enforcement. Trust me when I say that bottle girls, gas station clerks, strippers, front desk employees at hotels and airports, baristas, etc. have better de-escalation skills than any cop I've ever seen.
