"If trans people want a boycott of The New York Times, where's the call to do so?" Here is a declaration laying out how the NYT is a key driver of trans genocide, why boycotts work and why anyone who gives a damn about trans lives and rights must boycott The New York Times.
Boycott The New York Times
For years The New York Times has relentlessly pushed anti-trans propaganda, playing a significant role in the escalating genocide against us. It's far past time for a call to action: anyone who cares ...

I’ve been rewatching Legend of Korra and really appreciating it. I think it’s kind of poetic that Korra (the show) failed to live in the shadow of the The Last Airbender, because the show is largely about how Korra (the character) fails to live in the shadow of Aang.
I would be very grateful for the software I've been able to create and improve with its help, and so fucking happy that the treadmill could slow back down.
“If AI was suddenly banned, would you give it up?” Honestly, I’d be so relieved. I claude all day, almost everyday. It’s become a pretty core part of my life tbh. But it would be so nice to just spend a few weeks just taking it slow and hand coding things. Like carving your own spoon in the woods.

building atproto stuff is all fun and games until you remember that posting on this site is fucking miserable because so many bots watch the firehose and immediately follow/heart/repost everything you do trying to scam you out of money, and the same thing will inevitably happen to anything you make
fascism has a fucked up fixation on gender (and this is the real "gender ideology")

We need more walkable, mixed-use datacenters. Like community gardens, people should be able to experience the joy and satisfaction of cultivating their own hardware. Big Cloud has alienated the connection people felt with their computers. Kids should know what it's like to swear at rack mount rails.

My iPads a bit more than 8 years old and starting to lock up a bit when I’m drawing and I want a newer bigger one, but that costs money, and right now my priority is making sure that Kaiser permanente, spectrum, and my landlord have everything they need 🙌💗
tomodachi life is a game about nothing with nothing to do except nothing and I played it for 8 hours straight tonight. 10/10, I love having all my friends as little blorbos. 😭
@tangled.org I never agreed for y’all to start sending me a newsletter. I know y’all just got your bag but please don’t immediately turn into sleezeballs.
It’s as easy as shutting your effin mouth! And did I mention… it’s free?!

In 44BC it took 60 senators to stab Julius Caesar to death. Crazy to think that nowadays, thanks to modern technology, he could be killed by one senator running him over with a snowplow
People are losing the spirit of the Ides of March. It's not about just stabbing. It's about coming together to stab in groups
