I'm not sure folks have realized just how crazy the second half of 2026 and 2027 will be for global temperatures – on the back of a record-smashing El Niño event. Here is my latest estimate of where both years will end up compared to global temperatures since 1850.

I reviewed those by myself, one by one—no AI involved!—and the filings pointed to police reports. I then sought those out separately and spent days combing through them.
Beyond the racism, I'd add that on things like climate change, election results, and COVID, they're almost certainly selecting for people willing to reject objective reality. They are actively anti-intelligence.

Its truly amazing the price of oil is still pretty low because investors are saying "we're sure the confused president and his B-team cabinet who got into a war nobody else in 50 years was dumb enough to start and the religious fanatics in an existential dilemma are probably gonna work this out."
For some reason this isn't getting the attention it should. 10 yr and 30 yr bond yields are exploding. The 10 yr rate changes tracks mortgage rates changes almost perfectly. They are up 0.8% since the start of trump's Iran fiasco. This will make a home purchase much, much more expensive.
Interesting response from Chrome's AI assistant. It did specify the name of the bill responsible for the credit but didn't do the same for bill that repealed IRA alt energy credits. Wonder why.
