the World Cup is one of those things that reminds us we’re one humanity. Sucks that a corrupt few influence so much division in us. Day to day life around the world is still that we eat, drink, laugh, cheer for a goal. Remembering our shared humanity is so important now. If we forget, we’re doomed.

tl,dr; Scientists no longer allowed to use federal funding to publish, attend meetings, or talk to the public. They cannot collaborate internationally. Grants can be cancelled for any reason, at any time, political appointees have a final say over what gets funded, and who gets funded.

The Seattle Police Department is looking for a suspect in the murder of a University of Washington student Sunday night. This is a developing story and will be updated as we have more information.
