Just your regular reminder that: 1) Almost everyone has an underlying health issue if you look hard enough 2) People with underlying health issues don't deserve to die for eating lettuce 3) We should be strengthening, not weakening our regulatory processes. And properly funding them.

Reposting this because, as I've said many times before, the NYT’s phrase “incalculable loss” seems to have been prescient in grasping what would become a concerted unwillingness to consider the enormity & ongoingness of the loss, even in NYC. #IllnessPolitics

Teaching writing is an art. Getting a student past big anxiety. Pushing them to have confidence to trust that their ideas are valuable. Teaching them *enough* grammar to vary and connect sentences so a paragraph doesn't sound like a bulleted list. And on and on. But sure. Throw that out.

ICE’s airport arrests of people seemingly waiting in government immigration backlogs caught up a Fulbright scholar and public health researcher working at Johns Hopkins in their public health department. Not exactly the “worst of the worst”! Yet they threw her in detention anyway.
Infantino's plans are a puffed up mix of corruption & sexism (women's football is not even mentioned). So glad to see this forceful & united response from UEFA.
