There are many reasons that I wanted to start a program like REBUILD. Over the years, when incarcerated comrades returned home, they would ask for counseling/therapy resources that were culturally competent. I only ever had a couple of local resources for them when I lived in Chicago.

Use ALT text. It's relatively easy to do, you can set Bluesky to not allow you to post pics without it, and you can easily search up best practices for it. The added bonus is that you're more likely to get more engagement as well.

Narcan is really easy to use and you should absolutely carry it, even if you don't anticipate needing it. It reverses the effects of overdose, buying people time until medical help can arrive. And if you give it to someone who is not OD'ing, it has little to no effect (meaning no harm).
