One highways manager told the High Court she had been placed on medication after becoming “fearful of being followed home, tracked and exposed on social media”. Highways staff now wear unbranded PPE, work in unbranded vehicles, wear face coverings to hide their identity, and do not travel alone.

If you are a Unite member and want more climate action (not less), look out for the ballot paper which should arrive in the next couple of days. Sharon Graham has argued for more drilling in the North Sea and briefed against Ed Miliband because of his work on net zero. Time to dump Sharon!

This is my little bit of the Green Gathering festival in Chepstow. The Radical Family Space, in Campaigns, whose mission is to gently indoctrinate children with a full programme of proudly woke workshops and storytelling. 😎🩷🌱✊

A knot-tying workshop inside the Radical Family Space, housed in an old military tent. Dark clouds gather overhead.Woke children’s and parenting books in the Radical Family Space tent. Anti-racist and queer-affirming books displayed on the wall on the right. On the table are assorted progressive parenting books, and young adult graphic novels/self-help books.A kids’ free shop, a display of laminated pages from the A-Z of activism, and assorted animal and human puppets.Woke children’s literature themed under feminism, environmentalism, and resistance to power. My favourites are about animals who go on strike.
