I was looking at a new book by an author I've tried and enjoyed, and came across myself in the list of praise. Which is absolutely fine: if I have reviewed you, quote me with abandon! THAT SAID, if you could choose a quote that DOESN'T make me look like an entire idiot, that'd be great.

A variety of quotes along the lines of "Witty, spicy, seductive' and 'Heart thumping romance' and then me going "The bonking was hot".

Me two hours after A leaves: This will be great, I'll do so much laundry and relax with my shows & not feel guilty about being a gremlin Me nine hours after A leaves: Am I enjoying this correctly? Am I maximizing my gremlin time? Is being a gremlin revolting? I'm saaad when is A coming back 😭 ??

You may recall the case where Lynne Freeman sued Tracy Wolff for writing a YA set in Alaska where the male lead was hot and broody, just like in Freeman's book. This litigation went on for three years before a judge finally read both books and said there was zero infringement.

So do you all remember Lynne Freeman who sued Tracy Wolff because Freeman wrote a YA paranormal set in Alaska where the hero was hot and the heroine only learned about her paranormal heritage as a teenager, and so did Tracy?

1. It's a fun action movie. A line that got cut but sums up some of my overall feelings: This Odyssey is not a rich, satisfying Homeric banquet, but sometimes in the heat, an ice-cold Philly water ice is all you want - even it's mostly sugar and food coloring, and makes no nutritional sense.
