I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. I crowdsourced and then finalized this document "How to disable or avoid intrusive AI" and then gave it a short URL: notoai.org Please pass along if it's useful

It's not enough to be against AI, you need to be pro art. You need to be a champion of the art you love, you need to share that passion and joy, and do what you can to support the artists who make it, because it's not enough to hate AI, to hate what it's doing to art and media; you gotta love.

What people are beginning to realise, if they did not know already, is that Rowling is financing the whole UK "gender critical" network. It is a project she is willing to invest millions in. If there were any real journalism in this country, it would be investigated and exposed.

Growing up I wanted to work in animation (A Goofy Movie was the catalyst). In the last 8 years I've seen mass layoffs. Folks are basically stuck as contractors. The same with game devs. I'm grateful for the folks still working in their industries. There's a reason my career background is diverse.
