Have recently thrown open the flood gates and am querying all I have left who are open. It's a damn good book and I've been getting good replies so here we go. Head hurts, heart sings, madness abounds! Damn the torpedoes, and all that, too!

This one is so mindbogglingly stupid that I'm honestly starting to believe that the RAPID increase & variety "AI indicators" are intentional ops to devalue/create suspect in all writing to the point of exhaustion so that no one thinks it matters/cares which is which. It matters. It matter so much.

I saw someone say that sentence length variation is a sign of AI. I’m just out here like, no:

Watching "The Burbs" for the first time ... I was a kid in the 90s but I grew up in a bit of a strange town so am having a hard time remembering ... is this just what "average middle class" looked like? Would these folks have been considered upper middle-class? Because right now this is WEALTH

I just love a summer day that also feels brooding & cold where I can go for a long walk & watch nostalgic favourites about witches but also that contemporary domestic drama & read the latest indie novel & the NYT bestseller & paint again & work out & try that recipe while relaxing in my garden -

Sin that must be eternally punished is a culturally Christian idea that you can and should reject. If someone admits wrongdoing and changes their behavior, that's the desired outcome. You don't continue to punish because you then signal there's no point to contrition at all, you're damned either way
