there is a 2026 movie called The Odyssey on Tubi that is something like 90 to 100% AI generated. it looks like dogshit.

ok we're here for #horrorwatch a few minutes late, i missed the updates on Carrie. tonight we're watching The Awakening!
yeah sure whatever, let lara croft cook potato stew on her phone for 2m0s of damage resistance who gives a shit anymore
Bikes aren’t the reason why traffic is bad. Cars getting in the way of other cars are. The best way to reduce traffic is to give people other options to get around. That means bikes. And transit. And pedestrian-first streets.
utterly baffling to me that my macbook shows me a notification that i have a new update to install, but when you go to settings, it has to check for updates. and it takes like... minutes.
This social wasp species, Protopolybia collombiana, had only been described for a year when I photographed it in Costa Rica in 2016, and I did not succeed in identifying it until yesterday.
time for my favorite time of the week - #horrorwatch! We're watching From The Old Earth, a Welsh language film! very exciting
I made some holograms at home from an antique mall kit! According to the kit, I shouldn't bother trying to make holograms of plants because they move too much during the 5-minute exposures. www.aiweirdness.com/i-made-a-hol...
we're tuning in for #horrorwatch with Witchfinder General aka Conqueror Worm! i... kinda don't like this movie but I'm getting stoned so we'll see how it goes
They will tell you it takes years of studies and millions of dollars to make a protected Bike lane… They’re lying
This video, captured by 'beelightfulbees' on IG, shows a Bombus hypnorum, a 'tree bumblebee' napping on a flower, little toes tippy-tapping as it dreams. But do bees really dream and WHY? And how can we know that? Let's talk about 'memory reactivation' theory. (📷: beelightfulbees)
omg Diablo 3 has the same joke (i think unintentionally) as One Punch Man 1. amazingly designed bad guy drones on for many minutes about how he's the baddest mother 2. hero shoots the bad guy with a laser beam which instantly defeats him
in honor of Hayden Panettiere's passing, we put on Heroes last night, a show i completely missed. in episode 1 there's a solar eclipse, described as a "global event" and we see it taking place - apparently concurrently - in both NYC and Japan. sci-fi writers got away with everything in the 2000s
*ten hours into researching a new TV to buy* "oh thank god this one has good PQ EOTF tracking. don't even talk to me if your 600 nit tracking delta is over 0.0017."
smartphones have never ascended to this level of technological achievement (sound on)
"“Outdoor dining is about more than restaurant policy. It’s about what we want our streets to be used for: giving people more places to sit, eat, gather, and spend time in their neighborhoods—not simply storing private cars."
Year-Round Outdoor Dining Poised to Return Under Council Bill - Streetsblog New York City
Boosters predict an expansion of the popular "streeteries," thanks to all-year set-ups.

If it looks like an Amazon delivery and drives like an Amazon delivery, then it's an Amazon delivery, right? Not according to Amazon. Big companies like Amazon have built a vast network of subcontractors who deliver their packages while shielding them from accountability.
weird thing about ig is how it shows me a graph of zuck pressing the anti-BL anti-amontillado button on me
sure i could get so much done today. but consider this: what if i didn't
