Wonderful. I love them. So special that Bellingham allowed Saka to take the penalty for his hat trick and then scored that last minute beauty anyway! ❤️
Oh well at least I’ve got Spain in the @villaandproud.bsky.social sweepstake 🇪🇸
Well, this helps explain why Farage has gone into political hiding. Just how many more undeclared dark money donations were there?
We’ve got a hedgehog turd on our lawn! This is why I left London 🦔

16 years ago this very day I was supporting Nigeria v Argentina in Jo’burg 😎
Just back from Kings Norton Farmers’ Market, runners up in the 2026 Farmers Market awards! For those of us sad about the election results, the world still turns 🌞
Birmingham suddenly ripe for a UK remake of Borgen and I for one am here for it
Generally a fan of rainbows. This one on this Birmingham morning, not so much 😩

Campaigning in elections has been such a big part of my life for years. Feels so odd - but also good! - not to be involved any more.
Great to be able to share this If eliminating road danger and getting around our great city of Birmingham quickly and safely are important issues to you, then have a listen to our dissection of the various political manifesto pledges on transport.
🚨🗳️ Special podcast! We get under the skin of transport pledges made ahead of next week's all-out local elections in Birmingham. 🎧 Listen on a platform of your choice: betterstreetsforbirmingham.org/ep-13-birmin... What do you make of the manifestos?
🗳️ Later this week, Birmingham's local elections will hot up further as candidates are published. Here's a thread of our election coverage so far, what you can do now to put safer streets and better transport at the top of candidates' agendas, and what to expect from us over the coming weeks. 🧵
It’s not every day a new train station opens just up the tracks from where you live. Just completed the Kings Norton to Kings Heath South Brum challenge on the Camp Hill Line ❤️🚂
With three new rail stations on the Camp Hill line and two tram stops on the Eastside extension open in the last few days, we're taking the opportunity to ask for more stops please!
No one gave us any pedestrian infrastructure so we made our own.
Watch 👀 as drivers mount the pavement where a young mother pushes a baby, 20 metres from a primary school. This is normal in Birmingham. It’s the kind of behaviour which led to plans for an LTN in this area, which have now been abandoned by the Council after 6 years of development.
Just caught up with this excellent @brumhour.com conversation between @roifield.bsky.social and @betterstreetsforbirmingham.org's own @lucycaldicott.bsky.social. As this positive discussion makes clear, we can have more mobility choices that improve our city for more of us.
