new #beatbreak theory: we've known of Atratusmon for a while and now we have Albatusmon. I suspect they're meant to represent yin and yang, like the Five Stars represent the elements but Albatusmon absorbs e-Pulse, while yang is expansive. so maybe Atratusmon, inverting yin, can release e-Pulse

If I had a nickel for every story I've read that failed to understand the power of exponential goodness, leading to unnecessary suffering in the narrative, I'd have at least two nickels. but those nickels were from great stories so they're worth more

I sometimes think about nods the Digimon staff made that I didn't notice before. Like, this Digimon Frontier episode was a Superman II critique. The writer found the revenge diner scene after Superman regained his powers to be cowardly, so Tomoki was shown as a proper hero.

Its probably an old topic at this point, but people will often say 'Well, my table of D&D isn't like that' or 'You have to find the right table, then you worry less about builds and the rules' and.... I'll use an analogy with a game I hate: Monopoly. I don't like Monopoly. I think Monopoly is shit.

D&D is literally built from wargaming. AD&D said 'only lawful good humans can be paladins', which is a mechanical lockout of a roleplaying choice via your character sheet. Every single choice on a D&D characters sheet has always been purely statistical, affecting the wargame aspect or some dice roll

Genocide. Literally genocide. He full-throatedly supports genocide. I do not give grace to genocide. Anything but open opposition to genocide makes you complicit. "Oppose genocide" is the easiest layup we've ever handed Democrats and they fumble it every single time.

Everyone piling on Hakeem Jeffries, please take a breath. Yes, he could do better. He *has* done better. Keep pushing him. But his answer today on democratic socialism was not that bad. He literally says if one of them wins a primary, they're in the tent. Give a leader the grace he needs to lead.
