I've been monitoring this situation for a couple days and- I am heartbroken that I am shelving my Paper-pelago run. With how Archipelago has become an AI Bro Bar, I simply don't want to promote it or give it light anymore. If I lose RetroAchievements next I'm gonna explode lol

Rine@rine.bsky.social · 2d agongl, this is rougher than when i rolled mimic for my first, cuz at least freelancers can wear/wield everything. I had to farm skeletons on the boat because the first town didn't even sell knives, and I am plinking all the enemies so far.

The companies are particularly vile, but the technology has been created and trained in vile ways, and is used in vile ways. The very few niche positive uses do not remove the stink and vileness from it and all the crimes committed to make it.
Brittany Ellich@brittanyellich.com · 2d agoThis. I don't think anyone is really anti-AI. They're anti-the-companies-pushing-AI. LLMs have some really incredible use cases. They can be assistive technologies, help with mental load, and allow you to focus more on the present than an endless stream of tasks or your phone.
Anyone know if Koei-Tecmo have some kinda feedback form or whatever I can use to yell at them about this?

Running a #CAINTTRPG hunt that takes place in a timeshifted museum in the 1920s. One of my players commented it was really weird there was a furnace, and I suddenly remembered/relayed that my elementary school had a coal furnace all the way to the 1990s.
