But @jessiegender.bsky.social is right - think of the amount of times HBO commented on GOT leaks and downloads, just as an example. They DO track these things, and even that drives interest. Let this show die. Trans people deserve better.

FurAffinity (a furry focused online art gallery) is looking for funding after refusing to comply with advertiser demands. And oh boy are some of those advertiser demands are pretty ridiculous.

FA is one of the few places online that - loads (underline this twice) - has a gallery format - has a new submissions page - does not allow AI - has real breathing humans I can contact - honestly I just find furry art joyful and inclusive

FA is being very up front about both the cost of hosting the site [it aint cheap] and how advertisers theyd been relying on prior are pushing all the same puritan bullshit weve been seeing other platforms push FA is one of very few Old Internet spaces around. Support em while we CAN

Zach Bussey 🍁@zachbussey.tos.gg · 4w agoCEO Dan Clancy says Twitch now uses AI to identify streamers that may not match a brand, since it now transcribes all streams for brand safety. It won't show ads on channels or content the AI believes don't match what the advertiser is trying to achieve.
