The thing about chronic pain is you become so bad at distinguishing pain from the sensory background that you can only identity it by its effects. Sitting there like an asshole thinking: "Wow, I can't get ANYTHING done today. On an unrelated note, I don't remember if I took my pills this morning."

As modes of locomotion, "scurry", "skitter", "scutter" and "scuttle" all describe essentially identical activities, but they connote very different things about the creature so acting. I cannot articulate what that difference is, but I'll know at a glance whether a writer has picked the wrong one.

You can’t even comprehend how important Eien ni Hen’s work is to the fan translation community. Romancing SaGa, Fire Emblem, Sakura Wars, Tear Ring Saga, Glory of Heracles, Dragon Force II, Dark Half, Beyond Oasis, Psi-O-Blade, Arabian Nights, and so much more. What a loss. Rest in peace.
