If you're going for a slow burn make sure you pack the right kind of fuel, and enough of it. Two people who can hardly keep their hands to themselves from the word go probably don't have a lot of good reasons to keep them apart for say, three to four whole books.

UK publishing generated £7.4 billion in revenue last year. Compare that to: Premier League football: £6.6 billion Home entertainment: £5.6 billion UK film industry: 2.8 billion Now tell me again why authors don't deserve fair contracts and better pay.

When the human of a vampire-hating werewolf family turns into a vampire, he must hide his new fangs from his nosy sister all while suppressing his hunger for blood and deflecting the suspicion of his sister’s (very hot) 🐺 bodyguard. That and to avoid a 🧛 vs 🐺 war #SEAsianPit #A #PR #Q 🌈 filo mc

moodboard composed of 10 images (left to right) silhouette of a hand with claws, outside restaurant during the evening, vampire red eyes, wolf necklace, random alleyway in Puglia, silhouette of two men staring at each other longingly, golden eyes, a bucket of garlic and herbs, Fangs Out in Italy with a red background. Silhouette of bats going across the moodboard

Going through my old (like 2015) artworks and found this - shoutout to young Lysander who thought he was gonna make a whole web-comic lol I think my record was about seven pages. Writing novels might not be 'easier' but it's certainly less intensive.

A twinky blonde making the yandere face stands at the centre of the cover over the title 'Bitter Sweet Memenise' behind him is a weird butterfly skull with a proboskis looking thing (your guess is as good as mine) leaking black butterflies, and the face of a smiling demon with long hair and brown skin, glowing blue eyes and similarly glowing blue piercings.

My preferred AI metaphor is actually Asbestos. - Seemingly magical properties - Developed and experimented with to make endless products - Poisoned countless communities in it's creation - Everything it was used for eventually becomes a toxic hazard to mitigate & it's in the fucking walls now

Trying out a new metaphor: "A.i." = cocaine. Cocaine is inevitable! Cocaine can enhance your creativity! Cocaine can make us all faster and more efficient! If your kid doesn't learn how to use cocaine, they'll get left behind!

MORNING BLUESKY! My book THE GODS OF ATALANTIS #1 is out on digital today!!! 🥳🥳🥳 2 teenagers get chosen as the new gods & must learn to work together as they face scheming leaders, fanatical cults & a prophecy of doom for their island! ❤️‍🔥 Slow-burn romance! 💎 Magic crystals! 🌏 Deep worldbuilding!

Cover of THE GODS OF ATALANTIS, designed by me. The bottom half shows a girl with long flowing hair sleeping in a fetal position, wrapped up in flowing cloths; she is painted in shades of light to dark blue, and her flowing hair and cloths are reminiscent of ocean waves. At the top, upside down, a boy with curly hair and a tattoo on his arm is also sleeping in a fetal position, wrapped up in cloths; he is painted in golds and reds, like the sun. The two of them mirror each other almost like yin & yang, with the title written between them in shining reddish-gold letters. A reddish-gold border frames the cover, and each corner features a small symbol: a marigold flower, a phoenix, an orange & blue striped fish, and a wolf. Along the left and right sides of the border, pale bluish-white crystals are growing. Along the bottom the author's name EMILY KLOTZ is written in the same reddish-gold letters.

Anyone else sick to death of reading about magic herbs in every romantasy? Am I the only one who thinks this is immersion breaking and lowkey boring? Make them use animal bladders. Give the herbs side effects. Contraception isn't free. This message brought to you by post iud cramping.

From Mare's perspective to Sebastian's during their first week of working together and then from his back to hers later in the chapter - I thought if these instantly.

By the end of the first week, I’d managed to confirm the validity and usefulness of almost all of the books I’d picked out in advance, as well as several that weren’t listed in the public catalogues.

It left me—perhaps unwisely—wondering if the year wouldn't be so terrible as I’d thought.

Studying was every bit as terrible as the last time I’d tried it. Which was long enough ago that I couldn't put a specific date or memory to the occurrence. Only the certainty that I hated it then as I hated it now.
She scrutinised me for a moment, as if she was actually considering it. “Are you going to take advantage of my good will, purposefully misinterpret my motivations, and spend the whole time flirting with me?”

“Flirting is how I learn.” I shot her a grin, and she rolled her eyes, but this time her smile made its way down from her eyebrows, all the way to the corner of her mouth. Just the barest little upwards twitch.

“I’m beginning to think it’s how you breathe,” she replied. “But alright. I’ll see you at dinner for a lesson on mundane metamorphosis.” Then she went back to reading.

But there was no way I was going to be able to read now. Meadows had agreed to dinner.

"You were my undoing, and I am to be yours." MM Romantasy 107k Vengeful courtesan Kresimir Zaheriev has his eyes set on killing the King. The King has plans to make Kresimir one of his secret magic investigators. Both get more than they bargained for. #Cupit #RF #LGBT

"The Iris and the Aconite MM Romantasy" "You were my undoing and I am to be yours" photos on a background of ripped and wrinkled paper. Left to right, top row: a ripped photograph (half shows the ML, half shows the MC), someone holding a crown, a poison vial. Second row: a castle in a round picture frame, two hands reaching for each other, and two people embracing each other. Lastly, a photo of a man on top of another man, choking him “Aren’t you a wealth of knowledge?” Kresimir crossed his arms. “What does this have to do with anything? Or are you trying to rub it in my face that my parents might’ve been a pair of pyromaniacal cultists?”
The King gave him a tired look, his eyes widening slightly, his brows dipping. “You really believe the worst of me, don’t you, my friend?”
      “We’re not friends.”
“We are most definitely something tangential to friendship.”
“I believe those are called allies. Acquaintances.”
      “We had drinks together.”
“Because I wanted to kill you, you stubborn fool!” They were close enough to feel each other’s breath now. An inexplicable urge to close the gap surged in Kresimir, potent as his irritation.
“I’m stubborn?” the King asked in disbelief.
The doors to the office creaked open, and they jumped apart, Kresimir’s heart racing from more than vexation.

The text is on a paper texture against a beige background. Illustrated flowers are in the upper left and lower right corners. A locket is in the upper right corner. A kiss mark is in the lower left corner
