In other Michigan news, the state looks set to elect it's first transgender lawmaker. Joanna Whaley won her Democratic primary and will compete in November for a state house seat, beating a primary opponent who tried and failed to disqualify her for not running under her deadname

I submit that for a lot of people it wasn't really that bad. Time at home with family, no commute, cleaner air, a better sense of community working together, universal basic income. Yes, schooling was a shit show, and for plenty of people it was a horror show for all the reasons we know it was.

I’ve been writing a counter narrative of shutdowns that has me revisiting media from that time. And let me tell you, the only other option was everybody die. So yeah.

BTW, if you are a #Tigers fan and you are mad about the Skubal trade, the you must... -Cancel your Detroit sports streaming subscription (or don't buy it) -Cancel your season tickets (or don't buy them) and stop going to games -No merchandise, including McGonigle and Clark swag

FWIW I am also terrified of Shohei, Skubal, and Yamamoto hanging out and talking game for the remainder of the season. How much more filthy are those three guys gonna get from working in close proximity with one another from now til October?

I am sure this has been pointed out already but: Shohei: $28m Betts: $25m Freeman: $22m Yamamoto: $20m Skubal: $32m $127m That is more than the entire payrolls of: Col, Min, Pit, TB, Athletics, Stl, Wash, White Sox, Miami, and Cleveland. So what are your lockout plans?

It's Little Tiny Ass Dick Month. If you celebrate, you probably got a stupid ass nasty little dick. Go fuck your self
