Like even normal people, innocent people, can glance at the fucking East Wing rubble or whatever incoherent nazi bullshit Trump is posting that day and be like yeah man Osama Bin Laden definitely accomplished his goal. Completely nailed it.

I have a ton of board games, and I'm looking to unload a bunch both because I'm broke and because we're moving soon, and. I guess games are just really expensive these days? I was looking at the replacement cost for like, my unopened copy of Root that I bought for $40 in 2019 and it's $60 now? Huh.

I am bummed that the place we live now—which is smaller than our previous place—does not have a table or other surface on which to play games. I am double bummed that the next place we will live—which will be even smaller than this one—most likely will not, either. (Hobbies? In this economy? 😂😢😭)

I know folks in NYC, but I'm not sure who's around on Long Island these days... We'll be in Stony Brook till the end of the week, so it'll be nice to have some toodling time there.

Friends who make and sell games: - Do you have a "sell sheet" that you send to folks? - Do you have one for each game, or one for all your games? - Do you ever send them to folks physically, or just digitally? - Do you refer specifically to a distributor or your site, or just general contact info?

ADHD means that instead of spending ten minutes on a chapter in the morning, an ebook artifact leads you to tracking down the sick Gustave Doré plates for the edition of Don Quixote you're reading, then following the "how to do wood engraving" rabbit hole for an hour and developing the new interest.

it is august and I am not immune to buying more highlighters and index cards even though I probably already have plenty of highlighters and index cards and I have not been "back to school" since the 2013-14 academic year

Made it to our airbnb (but it's an old convent attached to the arts center so it's cool) in Minneapolis for @makeascenemn.bsky.social ! The drive from Detroit was actually pretty nice, aside from some scary bridges, and we had a little sleepover in Portage, WI, so we're not completely exhausted. 🎉
