This is gonna make Rust programmers angry. 

Reflection is one of the most powerful concepts in Computer Science. Unfortunately, not every programming language is blessed enough to have it.

Awesome as always (as was your accu talk). Btw, Objective-C has (had? Is it dead yet?) the ability to replace member functions at runtime. (Member functions are msg passing and lookup. Not dynamic ala class vtable but as in swap the base class method at runtime.) And of course Lua and metatables...

To look for timeless lessons, contrarian opinions (e.g. comments), language design (Kolence's quote - defining a program as data transformations rather than instruction sequences - hints at Rust's data-first, traits-over-OOP philosophy), etc. 💡
