Yep. Earlier this year I was interviewed by Sharyn Alfonsi of 60 Minutes about my Epstein investigation. Subsequently, CBS pulled the segment and fired the reporter. The MAGA buyout of media is aiding the Trump administration’s Epstein cover up.

Banks permitted millions in suspicious transactions tied to Epstein—and former 60 Minutes correspondent Sharyn Alfonsi had the story months ago. But the report would never air. trib.al/ZShZlIS

Just your regular reminder that: 1) Almost everyone has an underlying health issue if you look hard enough 2) People with underlying health issues don't deserve to die for eating lettuce 3) We should be strengthening, not weakening our regulatory processes. And properly funding them.

Breaking News: Two deaths in Michigan have been linked to cyclospora. Both people who had the parasite also had underlying health issues.

"don't make enough money" is a fig leaf All those degree programs--social work, art, etc.--have disproportionately female student bodies. This is designed to make it harder for women to attend college--college education being a key factor in women's autonomy from men & left-leaning voting pattern.

President Trump is banning students majoring in degrees that don’t make enough money from taking out college loans. Degrees for social work, art, religious studies, teaching aides, and music will be hit the hardest. trib.al/aaAEu6v

The author of the Democrats’ 2024 autopsy says a key chapter was left out of what was made public. The chair of the DNC says he never saw it. The chapter addressed “the sway of an operative class that had become ‘generationally wealthy off politics’ while steering Democratic strategy.” Gift link:

A dispute over the chapter between the author and the Democratic National Committee has added to the party’s turmoil as it tries to look forward, not backward.

Plagiarism, SA & consent: I’ve learned there is a distinct overlap between people who willingly steal the creative work of others & people who force others into unwanted, intimate acts Both have no regard for consent Both see something they want & feel it is their right to take it

So, you can buy his book if you don’t have a problem reading stuff written by a thief But you also need to know that we blacklisted him from our conventions because he would try to skim the young, naïve AFAB folks into his circle. It was always skeevy I don’t believe people like that change

Behind the scenes, Gulf countries are frustrated with what they see as a lack of a clear strategy from the U.S. as the war drags on, subjecting their territories to frequent Iranian attacks, people familiar with the matter said.

I'm not sure folks have realized just how crazy the second half of 2026 and 2027 will be for global temperatures – on the back of a record-smashing El Niño event. Here is my latest estimate of where both years will end up compared to global temperatures since 1850.

“Until our nation confronts the racial wound at the root of its politics, laws, and memory, every other reform will be a house built on sand.” – James Forten (September 2, 1766 – March 4, 1842) was an American abolitionist, activist and businessman in Philadelphia

The Boy Who Heard the Promise

James Forten was nine years old when he first heard that all men are created equal. Two hundred fifty years later, our leaders pretend that Black people were never meant to hear it.

A scribe in a ruby tunic with a dark purple cloak over top is seated on a wooden chair, and focusing on the task of writing in a manuscript that is resting on a lectern. The scribe appears inside a large, illuminated letter E that is blue. Within the E the background is made up of small dark blue squares with a circle in each square, almost like the wall behind the clerk is a quilt. The background outside the letter E is similar to the background in the letter E, only it is made up of red squares instead of blue ones.
