still kinda bums me out that it seemed like we were getting a resurgence of couch/splitscreen multiplayer until 2020 swung things back towards online play. i guess i'm in the minority but i find it way easier to to get friends over for a game night vs convincing them to bust out the headsets etc.

Ringwyrm is an immersive action horror game with survival elements. Explore a nonlinear interconnected world, meet a large cast of memorable characters, slay sickly monstrosities and avoid myriad diseases. Coming 2027.... wishlist below!

I made a room for Chariot's submission to the 2026 SOUP JAM! If you aren't familiar, I'd also reccomend checking out last years SOUP ROOMS. It's essentially a minimalist "game" of a series of rooms with neat art to look at. If you've watched any of my vids you won't be surprised I love these lol.

Explore a series of surreal, dreamlike rooms in Recollections of Soup, my entry for the 2026 SOUP JAM. Each room is its own unique experience, a small ludic or aesthetic idea. Check it out! chariot-rider.itch.io/recollection...

really bummed but i'm going to have to can my new Next Fest vid. bad weather here has caused water leaking into the basement, almost entirely in my office (lol), so i've had to pull up carpet and move everything and run a bunch of fans etc. every time it rains more than a sprinkle.

Found out there's like a "press preview" version of Next Fest that starts ~a week early. Searched "Next Fest press preview" & the 1st result is the press page lol. It's even like "don't share this URL press only!" I coulda been spreading this work across 2 weeks instead of crunching so hard for 1 😭
