Climb training last night. No one else turned turn up, so it was a one on one session. Gave the coach a bit of shit a couple of weeks back about her classes being chill, so she went hard on me last night, wrecked today. Good though, she really goes hard on technique, so I've got a few work ons.

Fucking cool to see a cello at a metal gig. The band Khadga has just scored a support spot for Jinjer in Auckland. How awesome is that for such a young band. The audio on my photo doesn't do these fullas justice.

What is going on in the cricket? ND currently 5 down for 7 runs in the 6th over. 😮

Harvested the last of my new potatoes, around 9kgs planted red onions, marigolds and parsley before the rain kicked in. Buggered my plans for an early arvo fish. However a good time for a couple of ciders and the latest Dr Who.

One thing I love about my daughter being in town in making awesome vegan food with her. Last night experiment was homemade ravioli with a tofu, basil, roasted pine nut filling and a garlic butter and sage sauce. Was quite amazing.

So stoked, just topped my second ever V6. Also topped a V5 I had been projecting for a couple of sessions and progressed another V5. Just ordered a pair of Scarpa Instinct VSR climbing shoes, so can no longer blame my old shoes for falling off tiny bouldering holds.

First hot day of the summer. I'm not looking forward to climb training tonight. The gym if busy, will smell like a sweaty armpit.

After not climbing a V5 in about 3 months, I managed to top 4 in the last two sessions. Also, I'm getting close on another 2, so I'm getting back to where I feel I should be after an injury and catching the flu.

Darfield is chilly, but looking lovely this morning.

Had to have one of those talks with my 18y/o daughter last night, she lives in a different town and her new 33 y/o male flatmate just move in and has been fairly persistent about going out for a drink with her. The whole situation raised a bunch of red flags for her.

Trans women are women and gender queerness is not a threat to anything except the patriarchy.
