Yeah, one of the most fustrating things about this whole thing is we have largely been very successful at integration and most of the public accept it! They have a civic view on nationality! Its the extreme trail wagging the dog

An extremely minor annoyance of the immigrant experience is when there’s a book in your home language which you real want to read but you don’t know when you’ll be home next, so instead you start wondering if reading it in translation will just be an exercise in frustratio.
sort of feels like the real story there is about the Swedish state’s (problematic!) approach to disability as opposed to saying anything about ADHD.

The public was allowed to enter the whale up until a couple was found having sex inside it. Now the whale’s jaws are opened only for special occasions, such as Swedish election days.
This is a guardian favourite article format: "your favourite ethical consumerism is also contributing to environmental problems". Let's just forget that intensive animal farming is a huge part of why we are having problems with antibiotic resistance and threats of various pandemics etc.
