Is there a better rhyme in all of music than City High’s: “It was all over him y’all, my boyfriend the criminal” ?

Parliament square already filling with red faced people draped in upside-down, chinese made Union flags. They think they love this country but all they love is a fabricated vision of villages, bobbies and miss bloody marple. They actually hate Britain. I say get out of my city you sad losers

When you work in HE and speak with a working class accent you get used to people’s facial tics the first time they hear you speak. I’ll tell you what though, it’s been eye opening at my new work where it hasn’t happened once and is unlikely to

This is a letter my Nan received from Ted Heath. My mum found it in my grandad’s stuff. Seems she sent him a complimentary Christmas card. I’m willing to forgive the class treachery as Heath was probably to the left of Starmer anyway.

Photograph of a cream-coloured folded letter on official 10 Downing Street stationery with the Prime Minister’s crest at the top left and “10 Downing Street, Whitehall” printed at the top right. The message is handwritten in black ink, thanking the recipient for Christmas greetings and offering best wishes for the New Year. The letter is signed “Edward Heath”. The paper shows a horizontal fold across the centre and slight creasing.

Amongst a host of dodgy qualities in the restaurant we were in last night, the logic of the many poster montages eluded me. The political one included Ghengis and Imran khan and Deng Xiaoping

A red poster mounted on a wall beneath a decorative light fitting, displaying twelve celebrity headshots arranged in three rows of four, each labelled with their names. The names shown include Angelina Jolie, Maria Sharapova, Sania Mirza, Shakira, Aishwarya Rai, David Beckham, Lionel Messi, Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Shilpa Shetty, Richard Gere and Kiara Advani.
