The appointments of Miller and (potentially) White are crazy, of course, but they are also indicative of pure desperation. Nobody wants these positions because they know that a mountain of shit is coming and they want to be a million miles away from it.
The descriptions of Miller as "a fiery hard liner" or "a controversial aide" or "immigration hardliner" are disgracefully evasive. He's a white supremacist, full stop.
