Google search "descent 1995 healing items" and a Roblox game comes up

The concept of algorithmic (NOT AI) Image upscaling has always sort of fascinated me, it's a really interesting problem to solve - "how can we extract details from assumptions made from the shapes and arrangements of pixels?"

Nine hours after going live, the itch bundle benefiting our Game Worker Hardship Fund has already raised over $13k! Thank you so much to those who have already purchased. And for those who might be waiting for payday, you’ve still got about two weeks left! Thank you so much 🙏

A screenshot from the itch page for the game industry hardship bundle, showing that more than thirteen thousand dollars has already been raised out of the total 100k goal

Still learning Japanese, and last night wow I was humbled Tried out "Miburi to Teburi" on the Wii. You're supposed to interpret gestures from some FMV clips and write something down based on that? I was so overwhelmed at the first damn obstacle, no clue what the hell I was doing

I really hate the "user story" aspect of processes that do an agile thing I don't like having to explain my idea that's incredibly self evident when you see it Especially when Im the kind of person that tends to over explain stuff to the point where it just becomes confusing

Got a whole new array of games this weekend! Cannot believe I found Aquanauts Holiday AND Kowloon's Gate at the same event!

Just found out about "Project Aether" which seeks to port all Cod Zombies maps and features into one playable project Played a bit of it, it's already so much of a better UX than what I've experience in the past playing modded WaW

I did a bit of Game Boy Camera photography at the Cleveland Red Vox show, had a ton of fun! It's been forever since I've been to the Beachland, its a great venue!

From an art slide for new Aang movie 🤮: ""Also according to chatgpt, "In general it is not common for South East Asian cultures to emphasize or traditionally have a strong association with beards. Traditionally valued a c clean-shaven appearance or minimal facial hair grooming.""

A screenshot of the slide from the presentation, with the text:

Face shape exploration (no hair exploration yet)
(Please consider that if they are East Asian, the shave+braid queue hairstyles which are specifically Mongolian/Chinese may not be a good fit. Also according to ChatGPT, "In general it is not common for South East Asian cultures to emphasize or traditionally have a strong association with beards. Traditionally valued a clean-shaven appearance or minimal facial hair grooming.")

Also shown in the slide are two concepts for a character, plus a picture of Eren Jaegar.

I dont know if this is brazen or it has just become so normalized that people who use the stuff don't see it anymore but the text that opens the final paragraph on the right on the big slides for your sdcc presentation is WILD

According to chatgpt written in the Avatar movie presentation.

Okay so I am one of those people that changed their Roku screensaver away from the city because I don't like the way it puts advertisements in my living room I gotta say, shoutouts to the Cherry Blossom wallpaper, anyone else rocking that one? It's been a mainstay in my living room for a while

I love the CRT look as much as the next guy, but please, can we stop using phrases like "this was how it was meant to be played" when discussing games from the Gamecube / PS2 / Wii eras? It was a weird time, the games were developed with a grosser mismatch of video formats than you'd like to believe

Started playing thru Descent (PS1 version) today, and wow I was definitely sleeping on this one. I was very worried that it was gonna be super disorienting, but the game actually does a good job avoiding this with good texturing and a 3D auto map!
