Memphis, mane.

My heart hurts too much to even say something ironic about this. What if we just fucking start fighting for every single precious human life before they’re under attack. What if we treat now like it matters as much as it does.

an immigration lawyer working on some of these Haitian cases today says an ICE officer told them, re: the ankle monitors: “We’re following our orders.” Direct quote Hm

the thing I hate most about being a democrat is watching people who agree with each other on 80% of things go full nuclear on things while the Republicans just roll into power and the only things they agree on are we like money and hate gay people black people foreigners and needles

The only responsible attitude for liberals and progressives to align on is that all right-wing grievances, claims and believes are not only false, but malicious lies. Nothing passes the mouth of an American conservative in public life that is not meant to harm and destroy the lives of millions.

See, when Hunter Biden consorted with prostitutes, that was everybody's business, but Barron Trump palling around with accused sex traffickers is a private matter.

“More than a thousand people rallied for Justin Pearson, a Democratic state representative running for Congress, in the wake of four fatal shootings by members of the Memphis Safe Task Force over the last two months.”

reminding everyone that Elon Musk has basically no expertise in business or finance or science or engineering — the thing he's actually an expert on are these Trump-style aggressive legal shenanigans that have let him break the law and violate contracts

Ro Khanna was supposed to appear on Meet the Press today to talk about his detainment by Israeli settlers in the West Bank, but he has been bumped by Benjamin Netanyahu to pay tribute to Lindsey Graham

Senator Lindsey Graham was scheduled to appear on
@MeetThePress
 this morning.

It would have been his 64th appearance on this broadcast.

We are sending our deepest condolences to his family and colleagues.

President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will join us this morning to reflect on his life and legacy.

To say that European Jewish culture failed because it did not stop Nazism is to say it is the sole obligation of the marginalized community to win their own rights. It’s like arguing trans culture has failed because of US politics today. It’s placing a failure of all of humanity onto one group.

Deborah Lipstadt, scholar of antisemitism and former Biden admin official, is agreeing with a post arguing the German 19th century Wissenschaft des Judentums field failed because it did not stop Nazism. We've moved from "the Bund failed because of Nazism" to "all of European Jewish history failed."

I will grant you the courtesy of assuming you have not seen the number of people who are clearly using "AIPAC" as a synecdoche for "the global conspiracy of Jewish money and the secret Jewish cabal that controls the world", but it is the overwhelming majority of uses.

As I’ve been saying, he’s been an extraordinarily weak general election candidate since the general election started. And in this political environment, when Texas, Ohio, Iowa, and Alaska are freaking tossups, the Democrat in Maine should be running circles around Susan Collins. This is no loss

Here's the definitive numbers take on Graham Platner: He's bad. Specifically, he's running about 10 points behind expectations — and in a race that decides control of the Senate about 10% of the time (the third most likely tipping point). www.gelliottmorris.com/p/2026-07-07...

Nowhere Men Mean Mr. Trump thought he could get by with a little help from his friends, and his Fab Four agreed we should strip immigrants of citizenship so they have to work in strawberry fields forever. We're so sorry Uncle Donald, but two of your piggies don't want a revolution. by Maureen Dowd
