Made a man on Instagram very angry by asking if he had permission to sell a CC BY-NC product. He explained that I was miserable moron and it was a free design. He asked if he could copy my designs without permission and I said yes, you just need to say where you got the design from.

So this morning I'm thinking I still love open hardware (and in turn @oshwassociation.bsky.social ) but we need to be way more militant about it. You can get away with being #openhardware adjacent way too easily. #opensource and #opensauce are not the same.
