thinking about the popularity of so many "redraw trends" and plagiarism of compositions by all sorts of artists (it comes up often for gposing but 2D artists do it too). i have to sum up my discomfort with it as follows: it's artists treating other artists the same way A/I treats art as data

I've been struggling to draw on my computer lately which is unfortunate because that is where all my owed art is located. (sorry, progress is slow but moving forward when i can) on the plus side i am learning to crochet just so i can make fishnet sleeves for a concert

People, in every field, are watching their careers get burned into ash in favor of a machine that is *allowed* to make vastly bigger mistakes than they would ever be allowed to. The machine can't even get the company's name right, but *you* are hounded over the color of a single pixel, etc.

As far as I can tell the entire gameplay capture team for bungie stuff got laid off (including related Sony peeps). If you want to hire one of the best game capture teams in the biz, we are all now roaming around (and I still am) Posting this cause that team isn’t really a social media crew

Wait!! God damn it!! Contact info on my portfolio site: www.agbouskila.com And I need to say: you can't really call it an honour to be employed, but it WAS an honour to work alongside such sharp, thoughtful, experienced peers. Bungie team, thank you for everything. I'll really, really miss you.

I've been affected by the layoffs sweeping across Bungie. I have a lot of feelings about how things went down, but mainly I'm grateful for the talented people I've worked with closely. Grateful to have had this opportunity as my first industry job. You may be seeing me more often from now on. 🖤

Wishes are all I have but I'll make them anyway: to every Bungie employee who made sure my experience with something seemingly as simple as a video game changed me for the better in every possible way - I hope your talent and hard work are recognized for their true worth.

I wanted to say to any bungie devs, past and present, who might see this: you made something special. So many people still hold a lot of love for D2, whether they're coming back to play it or just treasuring the memories they have. Please know that your work is cherished 💙
