i watched an extraordinary film last night. merchant ivory film called "maurice" (1987). hugh grant has become such a sort of celebrity that we forget he used to act his socks off. james wilby and rupert graves also turn in engrossing performances. tough film to watch, but beautiful boxd.it/fEY5Pt
