I hope we as a culture are finally coming back around to “small talk is good actually” because you need to slowly get to know someone before being vulnerable and intimate and small talk helps you build that relationship

I feel like I have a distinct lack of close friends these days. I have like, one person I know that I can without a doubt say is a close friend. Feels like most people don’t really know me too closely and consider me just a casual buddy they talk to sometimes
never thought short form video would be able to capture a type of humor i can only describe as “the far side-esque” but this comes close.
I’m reminded of the time I had this “hot take” on Twitter where I said furry artists should be held accountable for their actions. And that it was unacceptable for artists to take clients money for a comm and not deliver. The craziest part was I lost a few artist friends over this.
