This new city life default of neighborhoods being mixed apartment residential and commercial businesses is all well and good until there’s an industrial paper shredding truck going full blast at 8am.

57 years ago today the crew of Apollo 11 landed on the moon. Somehow, July 20th didn't become a federal holiday. We need to axe Columbus Day for all kinds of reasons. Adding a new holiday about exploration that we can all be proud of would be a good shift in what we celebrate about US history.
