Despite all the meme jokes about transporters killing you and sending off your clone to finish your mission, that's not really how the transporters on Star Trek work: They convert your matter into energy and then *transmit* that *same* energy to a location to be reassembled as matter.

it's totally normal for dem primary voters to be concerned with choosing a nominee who can win. i just think when they then put their pundit hat on and try to divine the preferences of the median voters, they're likely to go astray. the best evidence someone can excite others is that they excite you

Copy editing tip: Find and replace double spaces with single spaces. Even if you never hit the space bar twice on purpose you’ll almost always get some doubles in the doc accidentally, and they are very easy to miss.
