Meta has enabled Muse to build extensive and ever-growing profiles on the orbit of people in a user’s life. Based on user input but also “publicly available information.” Whether that means a web search, Facebook’s own extensive data, or buying data broker info…we don’t know? And we can’t opt out.

This comic made me feel so angry when I first saw it. It makes me so mad for comic artists. People are so good at making so much money from our work and letting us live and die poor.
