Russia's recent attacks in #Ukraine affecting @UN_Ukraine and @RedCrossUkraine facilities are utterly unacceptable. They violate #IHL and add to the devastating civilian toll of Russia's war of aggression. Humanitarian organisations must be able to assist those most in need. @UNICEF_UA @WFPUkraine

🇪🇺Commission just fined #Google €890m for anti-competitive practices under DMA. But tech sovereignty advocates aren't impressed by the amount. The non-binding measures have produced non-binding results, and it just can't continue like this. I think there should be a ban on tourist visas for Russians, at least for as long as this war continues, because Russians are traveling as if nothing has happened.

Just arrived in Kyiv for my 11th visit to Ukraine in wartime. It’s a special moment. Ukraine has built a strong military momentum. The tide is turning. I will announce new initiatives to integrate our defence industries. So we can produce more, and faster.

“We need an Ozempic for cars. They are growing at a phenomenal rate, wreaking havoc on roads, squeezing out smaller vehicles and endangering pedestrians. Like ever-hungry teenagers, cars in Europe are growing on average a centimetre wider every year.” Don’t repeat North America’s mistake, Europe.

Britain’s cars and SUVs are growing bigger – but there is a way to stop this deadly ‘carspreading’ | Christian Wolmar

Larger vehicles crowd our roads and are far more dangerous to pedestrians. Let’s curb them before they do even more damage, says says transport commentator Christian Wolmar
