FWIW, both of VDARE’s founders were on the masthead of the National Review in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Peter Brimelow was also a staffer for Senator Orrin Hatch. This white nationalist thread has been present in the conservative movement for a long time. Screenshot is from 1997.

It is worth noting that the writer of that HWA newsletter telling people to embrace AI, has an AI based coaching app they are selling
Everyone's done the obvious dunks, but from my perspective, as someone who uses reference photos and who also uses a lot of art for running TTRPGs, AI disappearing tomorrow would be like a headache I had become grimly acclimated to suddenly lifting.
