Trump's DOJ has accused gender-affirming care providers of colluding with drug manufacturers to violate federal law. In March, I warned this argument could easily be used against abortion providers. Today, Josh Hawley did exactly this in a letter urging DOJ to investigate abortion info site Plan C.

Having done emergency comms for a fast food company who handled food recalls let me tell you this should be behavior that puts the company liable for negligence. I had to have my computer on me at ALL TIMES when I was on call.

The way this recall has been handled so far is absolutely bizarre. Instead of listing brand names, Taylor Farm used internal abbreviations for all the products impacted I was able to get Walmart and Sysco to confirm their products were impacted, but the lack of details is a nightmare for consumers

When I used to open my phone during movies (watching from HOME! I am not a monster) it meant I thought I recognized an actor and needed to do an IMDB search. Now it means the movie is so bad I have to search “director name + parents” to try to understand how something so bad got made.
