This is going to happen more and more until people in power and in the media stop lying about the basis for asylum. People don’t risk their lives to come here for nothing, they do it because it’s the only chance they have at safety.
Matt Ortega@mattortega.com · 2w agoStephen Miller said just the other day that all asylum claims are "fake." A couple deported from the U.S. to Guatemala were gagged, bound, and shot dead. Their 14-month old found crying next to their mother's body. People like Miller don't care though because this is the point: ethnic cleansing.
I am having to accept I'm still very burnt out from having a personal Year of Crunch™️. Is it bad that my first thought is to document and research the path to recovery from creative burnout? Surely that won't lead to more burnout 🫠

When I visited the Academy Museum in LA last month, they had a Bong Joon-ho exhibit, which included an entire room covered floor-to-ceiling in his storyboards for PARASITE. If you saw this and still thought "yeah, just let AI do that," you shouldn't be watching movies, let alone making them.

Have just been told of a woman close to us who hasn't left her house since Monday so we'll be sorting her out today and getting her anything she needs
