An extremely bizarre oversight in Donkey Kong 64 results in two completely unrelated variables becoming "entangled", so that changing one affects the other. This may have some very unfortunate consequences, as seen in the image.

You are got the high score in the DK Arcade in Donkey Kong 64. You register your name as, let's say, "TEX". Upon entering the Jetpac menu you discover that this game now has an astronomically high score you never set! Thinking it must be a glitch, you delete the high score in Jetpaс... ...only to discover your DK Arcade high score now spells something you did not intend. How unfortunate! This is caused by a single bit being reused between the value ot the first letter of the DK Arcade high score and the numerical value of the Jetpac high score, two completely unrelated variables. The last bit of the letter decides whether it's "odd" or "even" (reversed from regular alphabet so A is "even"), so setting it to an "odd" letter (B, D, F, H, J...) will set the highest bit of the Jetpac high score to 1, causing it to increase drastically. Deleting the high score also reverses the effect, since it sets the bit to O it makes the letter "even" again, changing B to A, D to C, F to E, H to G, etc. Source: info: tcrf.net/Bugs: Donkey_Kong_64, screenshots by Supper Mario Broth

I recently went to the local furbowl with two of my friends and it was the most fun time that I've had in quite a while! I socialized with others there way more than I thought I would, everyone I talked to there was super chill. From now on I'm probably gonna show up there every time they have it

I've finished up quite a few tracks over the past year and a half, enough for two complete albums, but I have still yet to release a good majority of them for various reasons. Mainly cuz my skills at mixing/mastering are amateur at best and I'm struggling to get some of those tracks EQd quite right.

Saw a couple of posts from US artists saying BSky is now asking them for age verification. Please follow the link in this repost. I’m the UK we’ve had this crap going on for over a year. The methods listed here work great, it’s what I use it (no way I’m providing personal info!)
