Microsoft is waist-deep in genocide, an AI pivot, and is burning down its gaming division one way or the other. Sony is going all-in on being the sole survivor, promising a closed platform of digital-only titles you'll rent in perpetuity from them. EA is now owned by multiple disreputable parties.

"Indie games" (itself an overly broad term at this point) aren't going to "save" games; there's a whole list of factors at play with what's going on, but man At this point independently produced games feel like about the only ethical option.

It's always interesting how "liberal" or "leftwing" spaces (whether perceived or actual) have to "stop being a bubble", but no one asks the same of Truth Social or any of the other rightwing spaces.

The issue isn't that she is black. A black Mary Jane Watson would be fine. The issue is that she isn't playing MJ, not even a particularly similar character, but they call her MJ with the initials meaning something else It's corporate fanservice bullshit while not actually adapting the comics

Obama: There was a deal in place in which Iran had agreed not to develop nuclear weapons. This administration pulled out of it, which caused then Iran to develop more nuclear capacity ... it feels like we're back where we were before we started the war, except maybe a little bit worse off.
