It's bc Taco Bell is REALLY GOOD at tracing product! Keeping track of exactly where they got their ingredients, & exactly what restaurants each shipment of ingredients went to!

One very important way Wall St has hosed our culture is the near complete elimination of long-term thinking/planning. The cadence is 90 days, between earnings announcements. That's the planning term in this country. It's nuts and it's hurting us badly.
A crucial skill that has been lost in our society is the ability to detect and dismiss bullshit. We are awash in bullshit daily, so much so it is exhausting. However, it is imperative to call it out at each opportunity - I've found questions to help: Why do you believe that?
Unfortunately, the people who need to understand your post are often ill-equipped to do so. They are also notably absent from this platform, which is a delight and a defect all at the same time.

Asking whether your institutions and your party failed you requires dismantling beliefs you have spent your lifetime building. That is emotionally expensive.

The techs come in, replaces servers that fail and leave. They work for the companies. They drive in, find the broken server pull it out of the rack, put a new one in. And drive away.

Remember, it’s perfectly reasonable for you to live your life guided by your particular religion and by your particular holy book. Go for it. But. Don’t expect the rest of us to live OUR lives guided by YOUR beliefs.
