you’re fired. wait you’re rehired. email us a list of things you’ve done today wait forget it you’re fired again. come back your job was important. you’re fired. or hired. come in to the office. wait the office has no computers go home. we are the department of government efficiency.

Don’t worry - the cost of a dozen eggs is up 700% since last year. The price of gas is going back up. And Trump’s tariffs on steel and aluminum will drive inflation upwards while making cars and homes much more expensive. But hey, at least the plastic straws we never lost are “back” right?!?

"Was Bishop Mariann Budde right to call for the protection of migrants and LGBTQ kids at the National Prayer Service?" Yes, she's allowed to talk about Christ's teachings at a church service. Next question.

"I should be able to spread racist right wing disinformation online and anybody who says otherwise hates free speech and supports censorship" as right wing propaganda has almost been as successful as their all time classic: "any reporting that criticizes right wing policy has a liberal bias"

This. In SO many places, it’s literally just “how to be less racist*.” *It’s sad that I can’t even say “not racist” here, but truthfully, so many people need the tiniest of baby steps to unlearn.

Mark Zuckerberg’s hyperpartisan rant against fact-checking was a craven political move, no part of which should be taken at face value. My take on yesterday's news: open.substack.com/pub/fakedup/...

They want you to think Community Notes has all the integrity of Wikipedia, but with none of the governance structures that make Wikipedia what it is. To mangle a reference, if they wanted Wikipedia, they would have invented Wikipedia.
