Gearing up for #camprevpit 2026, and I totally forgot to mention that one of the short stories I developed through prompts and activities in last year's #CRPWizardWasps cabin got sold and published in October. This year's camp starts on 4/11. Last year was great, let's make this year even better!

As winners are going to be announced this afternoon, I want to take a minute to talk about losing a contest like #RevPit. Real talk—the majority of people who submit will not win an edit, because there are many more subs than editors. 1/7

Greetings, Revelers, and welcome to my 2026 #RevPit #10Queries thread. I'm kicking off my first session now, but will attempt to thread my future sessions so people can find all of my posts together - that's my plan 🤷‍♀️ First, some hashtag shortcuts #MG = Middle Grades #YA = Young Adult #A = Adult

I'm emerging from my editing cave to drop some #RevPitTeaser posts and to give the early warning signal for my first 10Queries session coming soon (see the end of this thread). So, buckle up for some hints about the trends I'm seeing and loving in my subs: And a GIF from Younger - loved that show

I'm going to start posting a bit early for my #RevPit #AskEditor session because I have a hard stop at the end. But I'll circle back around later for any questions I don't get to during my 1 - 2 PM slot too.

Hello, everyone. Unfortunately, due to personal reasons I have had to pull out of participating in #RevPit this year. I apologize to any of the writers who were hoping to sub to me. Good luck everyone! I'll see you next year.

Editor Kala Godin has had to step down from this year's contest due to personal reasons. We hope she'll be back for the next #revpit event. Writers, please check our editors' MSWLs if you need to make a new choice. We ensure we have good coverage across genres so everyone has plenty of choices.
