Last year’s Republican budget megabill is devastating rural Virginia. Twelve clinics and hospital services have closed since it passed all in rural communities that can least afford to lose care. This is what happens when your rural health care is gutted to fund tax cuts for billionaires.
Missouri lawmakers tried to rig democracy. Voters torched the plan. Amendment 4 would’ve forced ballot initiatives to win in all 8 congressional districts, a rigged system designed to kill citizen power. They said no. Hard. Power to the people. Keep the momentum going into November!
Good for her. Good for the party and good for her longterm career too.

With primaries behind us, it's now time for Dems to focus on winning in Nov. That'll involve something hard: establishment Dems will need to ask what they can learn from progressives, progressives will have to focus on what they can learn from centrists & both'll have to find ways to work together.

I wanted Tom Steyer to be in the Governor's race, but he's not so I'm gonna vote for Becerra. I don't follow his campaign at all: I'm voting for him because he's not a Republican.
Once again we wake up to the news of horrible atrocities by Russia through its aerial attacks on Ukraine. Russia must pay for the destruction it has caused. And we are using the proceeds from the immobilised Russian assets to make sure it does.
