I can't emphasize enough that the most important thing journalists can do right now is publish exactly this kind of article
How a California prisoner allegedly ran Alaska’s fentanyl trade from inside his cell - Los Angeles Times i think it’s people like this guy who clearly are clever AF who fall through a system/society that doesn’t find a place for his level of strategy. what do you think?
They’re going to shutdown the government before they even have a chance to run it.

A sense of defenselessness, of being unheard and unhelped, has become the common American culture, the thing that unites people on left and right. And we need to understand that deeply if we’re going to stop political violence from spreading further. youtu.be/_VaabzCALlQ?...

Ahhh as expected, President Biden has granted a full pardon to his son for a specific time period in order to protect him from future prosecution.
What could Biden do to protect abortion rights before he leaves office? Several things, as I reported last month: -Preemptively pardon abortion pill providers who could be charged under Comstock -Complete EMTALA investigations -Finalize repro-related regulations www.motherjones.com/politics/202...

So a reminder: It’s not ‘liberals’ saying Hegseth abuses women. It’s his mom. It’s not ‘liberals’ comparing Trump to Hitler. It’s his vice-president. It’s not ‘liberals’ calling Musk a liar and a racist. It’s his own child. For the record.
My mom, as many know, has said some truly unpleasant things to me over the years, but this far surpasses that. While this mother has apologized for that letter, it sounds pretty truthful to me. I cannot imagine ever writing such a thing to my sons unless they deserved it, even at a tense time.
10yo me: Why does mom fall asleep on the couch at 7pm when we are watching TV ugh 44yo me: Oh
uhmmmmm… (forgive the mentions of you-know-who’s )
sometimes this app reminds me of a childhood story: when i was 6, i interviewed/tested at a school in LA (john thomas dye). i had to do a reading test, and it was about a bird in the sky. probably because i was nervous, i kept mis-pronouncing sky as “ski”… because of my last name. *curtsies*
I first tweeted this out almost a year ago and it’s unreal how often I’ve been able to reuse it #trumpindictment #lfg
